Seyed Mehdi Rahmati, the head coach of Gol Gohar Sirjan football team, called for the attention of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) officials to the hosting conditions in Iran during a press conference before his team's crucial match against Al-Muharraq of Bahrain in the AFC Champions League. He stated that Iranian football has always had popular and well-attended teams and competitions, and he expects the AFC to support Iranian clubs.
Rahmati's Requests from AFC
Rahmati said in this meeting: "I urge AFC officials to address this issue. We always have many fans in Iranian football, and we hope to host again in our country or at least, given the current conditions, to facilitate direct travel for these matches."

He continued: "I think this task is within the capabilities of the AFC officials. I request them to create conditions for our next game so that we can cover these distances with direct flights."
Gol Gohar's Readiness for the Match Against Al-Muharraq
Furthermore, the Gol Gohar coach referred to his team's readiness for the match against Al-Muharraq of Bahrain, stating: "Tomorrow's game is our second match in the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2. The first game was very important for us, and we managed to earn points from it. Tomorrow's match is also very important. We have good knowledge of Al-Muharraq; this team has 13 foreign players in its lineup, and we have analyzed their matches. We are ready to earn all three points."
Rahmati also mentioned the difficulties of his team's travel to Oman, emphasizing: "The club's management has made every effort to provide the easiest route for this trip. Given the circumstances, we arrived a day earlier to allow for player recovery here. Thank God, the players are in good condition, but traveling this route on the return and continuing the Iranian league matches will be challenging for us."
In conclusion, he expressed hope that by earning three points from tomorrow's game, they would relieve the fatigue of this journey from all team members and bring great joy to the people of Sirjan.
