Seyed Farzad Talakesh, Secretary of the Poultry Federation, reported on the balance of the egg market and the reduction of price fluctuations in retail. He announced that the price of each carton of eggs for consumers in stores has reached about 600 to 700 thousand tomans. This price change is the result of multiple meetings with packaged egg distributors.
Meeting the country's needs
Talakesh explained that the current daily production of eggs reaches 3,500 tons. Given the domestic consumption, this production volume is completely sufficient, and even a small portion of it is surplus to the country's needs. This indicates the capability of Iran's egg production industry to meet market demands.

High demand and controlled exports
The Secretary of the Poultry Federation also emphasized that eggs currently have the highest demand among protein products. However, considering the domestic consumption, exporting 50 to 100 tons per day will not disrupt supply and market regulation. This reflects appropriate management in the country's egg production industry, which has managed to control market conditions well despite high demand.
The stabilization of egg prices in the current situation, where price fluctuations are also observed in other protein goods, can help increase consumer confidence and reduce existing market concerns. Talakesh hopes that by continuing this trend, we will witness greater stability in the egg market and other protein products.
In conclusion, Talakesh urged all industry stakeholders to continue collaborating and brainstorming to maintain balance and stability in the market and respond to consumer needs. This will benefit not only producers but also consumers and the entire community.
