Sadegh Deyaiyan, head of the National Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management Center, announced the weather conditions in the country for Sunday, October 11, reporting rain showers and thunderstorms in five provinces. These rains, along with strong winds and dust storms in some areas, will create specific weather conditions for these regions.
Predicted rainfall in northern provinces
On this day, the provinces of Mazandaran, eastern Gilan, Golestan, North Khorasan, and the northern half of Razavi Khorasan will witness rain and thunderstorms. Deyaiyan also mentioned the possibility of hail in some susceptible areas and noted that temporary strong winds are not unexpected in these regions.

Continuation of rainfall in the coming days
He also predicted that tomorrow, Monday, October 12, scattered rains will occur in some areas of the northwest of the country. On Tuesday, October 13, in addition to the northwest, conditions will be favorable for rainfall in the west of the country, the southern slopes and heights of the central Alborz, parts of the central country, and the heights and slopes of the central Zagros.
On Wednesday, October 14, in some areas of the northwest and parts of the central country, an increase in clouds, scattered rainfall, occasional thunderstorms, and wind gusts are predicted. In this regard, the weather conditions in the country will generally be unstable this week.
Weather conditions in Tehran
Regarding the weather conditions in the capital, the sky in Tehran will be clear to partly cloudy today, with wind gusts expected at certain times. The temperature in Tehran will reach a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius.
Deyaiyan concluded by referring to the issuance of an orange weather warning regarding the intensification of the rain system, emphasizing the need for caution in travels and daily planning in the mentioned provinces. He also urged people to avoid unnecessary travel during thunderstorms and heavy rains.
Given these predictions, it is expected that the weather conditions in the coming days, especially in the northern regions of the country, will change, requiring more attention and caution from citizens.
