The endless wars of the United States from Afghanistan and Iraq to ongoing conflicts with Iran, in the opinion of Sachs, a professor at Columbia University, are tools for showcasing this country's delusion of hegemony and superiority on the global stage. In his recent speech, he strongly criticized U.S. foreign policy over the past 25 years and emphasized the need for a change in Washington's approach.

A Shift in U.S. Policies

Sachs, examining the history of America's wars since September 11, concluded that this country has fallen into a deep delusion regarding its role in the world. He states: "America must accept the new global realities and abandon its efforts to dominate other countries." In today's world, which is moving towards multipolarity, it is no longer possible to achieve goals through military and economic power.

Future Outlook

This university professor noted that current U.S. policies not only do not contribute to the security of this country but also place it in a weaker position. He particularly criticized Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, describing him as "a delusional 80-year-old." Sachs believes that Trump and his advisors, instead of accepting global realities, are seeking to create enmity and tension, which will ultimately be detrimental to America itself.

Sachs also referred to international efforts for cooperation and convergence, stating: "The world needs cooperation, not enmity. Major powers must move from war and economic sanctions towards diplomacy and dialogue."

These remarks come at a time when political and military tensions in the world have sharply increased, and many countries are seeking ways to reduce these tensions. Sachs hopes that by accepting new realities, the United States can move towards effective and positive cooperation with other countries instead of continuing endless wars.
