Hossein Kashani-Pour, the mayor of District 16, announced at the ceremony for the renewal of the Javadieh bus line that this line has been updated with 14 electric buses after 10 years. This initiative is the result of continuous efforts to fulfill one of the long-standing demands of the people of Javadieh.

Reduction of Waiting Time for Passengers

Kashani-Pour said: "With the renewal of this line, the bus frequency will be reduced from half an hour to 40 minutes to 15 minutes." This issue could bring significant improvements in the quality of public transportation services in the Javadieh area and make daily commutes for residents of this neighborhood easier.

Renewal of Other Bus Lines

The mayor of District 16 pointed out that there are 6 bus lines in this area, stating that 73 buses should operate on these lines. He also announced the renewal of 4 other lines that have been updated with 43 new buses. These lines include:

  • The terminal line from Vasal to Ali Abad Metro Terminal with 7 Scania buses,
  • The terminal line from Vasal to Shahid Fayyazbakhsh Terminal with 11 electric buses,
  • The terminal line from 17 Shahrivar to Shahid Fayyazbakhsh Terminal with 11 electric buses.

Kashani-Pour also expressed his hope for the renewal of the remaining two lines, saying: "We hope that the renewal of these lines will also be completed soon." These renewals could significantly contribute to improving the public transportation system in this area.

Attention to Local Issues

Kashani-Pour continued his remarks by addressing the problems faced by the residents of Javadieh, stating: "364 residential units in Javadieh were damaged during the Ramadan War. We are monitoring the issues in this area and are working to resolve them one by one." This perspective reflects the municipality's commitment to improving the living conditions of the residents in this area and brings hope for a better future.

The renewal of the Javadieh bus line not only facilitates the commuting of residents but can also serve as a model for the renewal of other public transportation lines in Tehran and other cities. Given the increasing population and the need for better services, these initiatives could help reduce pollution and improve the quality of life in various areas.
