Ramin Rezaeian and Abolfazl Jalali, two young and talented footballers from Iran, joined new teams after leaving Esteghlal, but now it seems that these decisions have been disappointing for them.
Ramin Rezaeian's Regret
Ramin Rezaeian, the former Esteghlal defender who joined Foolad Khuzestan, has been unable to play on the field due to injury. Although he is pleased with Foolad's rise, there is no doubt that his absence from the games has caused him concern. Given his experience in the World Cup, he is considered one of Amir Ghalenooi's important options for the Asian Cup. Now the question is whether he will return to his ideal form in time or not.

Abolfazl Jalali, the Benchwarmer at Persepolis
Abolfazl Jalali, who joined Persepolis at the beginning of the season, has become a benchwarmer after a while. He expected to shine as a star at Persepolis, but now he is faced with a bitter reality. Jalali not only does not play in his specialized position, but with the arrival of new defenders, there is also a possibility of acquiring another left-back in the mid-season. This situation has made Jalali realize his regret for leaving Esteghlal.
In addition to these two players, Munir Alhaddadi also somewhat regrets his departure from Esteghlal. He, who left the team due to non-football issues, is now thinking about what would have happened if he had stayed at Esteghlal. These factors highlight the challenges players face after leaving major teams.
The Impact of Departures on Esteghlal
Esteghlal, which has faced problems in transfers this season, has been unable to acquire players due to a closed window. Despite the promises of the club's managers, the failure to attract new players has disappointed fans. According to some sources, about 80 percent of the players who left Esteghlal regret their decision, and this indicates the importance of the blue jersey to them.
Overall, the current situation of Ramin Rezaeian and Abolfazl Jalali emphasizes the reality that professional choices in football are not always easy and may come with unexpected consequences. In Iranian football, where competition is fierce and expectations are high, these regrets can provide important lessons for young and forward-thinking players.
