Mehdi Tartar, the head coach of Persepolis, has recently outlined his plans for the winter transfer window. This coach, whose team has earned 20 points in the first 10 matches of the Premier League and has positioned itself as a contender for the championship, is looking to recruit new players in three key positions.
Strengthening the Left Defense; A Urgent Need for Persepolis
Tartar's first priority is to strengthen the left side of the defense. Abolfazl Jalali, as a left-back, has not met the expectations of the coaching staff, prompting the Persepolis coach to consider recruiting a specialized left-footed defender. In recent weeks, Mehdi Tikdari has played as a non-specialized left-back, which has further emphasized the necessity of acquiring a specialized player.

Need for a Playmaking Midfielder
The second position that the head coach of Persepolis is looking to strengthen is the midfield. The injury of Mohammad Khodabandehlu, the team's main midfielder, has led Tartar to consider recruiting a playmaking midfielder. This player should be able to play behind the strikers and increase the team's attacking power by creating goal-scoring opportunities.
However, Tartar's transfer plans are not limited to these two positions. He is also looking to recruit a new player for the attack. It seems that the Persepolis coach is not particularly satisfied with the performance of Sergi, and he intends to add a striker to his team for the second half of the season. Ali Alipour remains Tartar's favorite striker, but he is looking to recruit another forward to enhance the attacking strength of Persepolis.
Challenges Ahead for Tartar
Considering the current situation of Persepolis and the need for reinforcement in these three positions, it remains to be seen how much the club's management can meet the demands of their coach in the winter transfer window. This is especially important given the intensified competition for the championship in the Premier League. Persepolis fans will also eagerly await to see which players will be added to the team and whether these changes can lead to greater success for the team in the second half of the season.
Ultimately, strengthening the left defense, acquiring a playmaking midfielder, and adding a striker are the three main priorities for Mehdi Tartar in the winter transfer window for Persepolis. Given the current conditions and upcoming competitions, these decisions could change the fate of Persepolis's upcoming season.
