Rain-bearing clouds have arrived in Iran, and forecasts indicate heavy rain along the Caspian Sea coast and in several other provinces of the country. Amin Hossein Naqshineh, a meteorologist at the National Weather Organization, reported the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the northern strip as well as in the western and southern provinces.

Weather warnings and potential hazards

Naqshineh announced that today's rainfall is expected not only along the Caspian Sea coast but also in the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, Hamadan, and Ilam. Additionally, in the western half of Isfahan, Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Fars, Kerman, Zanjan, and Tehran, heavy rain and strong winds may occur.

With the issuance of a yellow weather warning, risks such as rising river waters, flooding of streets, runoff, and temporary strong winds have been highlighted. In these conditions, there is also a possibility of old trees breaking and damage to temporary structures and agricultural products. Therefore, it is recommended to take necessary precautions during travels and agricultural activities.

Temperature forecast and weather conditions in Tehran

In Tehran, scattered rain is also forecasted. Naqshineh added that at certain times, wind intensity will increase, and temperatures will drop until Monday. The maximum temperature in Tehran on Saturday will be 23 degrees and on Sunday 22 degrees.

Weather reports indicate that the average temperature in the country has increased by 3.3 degrees Celsius over the past week compared to the long-term average. This temperature increase has been particularly noticeable in the provinces of Alborz and Ardabil. According to Naqshineh, Tehran province has also experienced a temperature increase of 5.2 degrees this week.

Safety recommendations in weather conditions

Given the predicted weather conditions, the Caspian Sea, Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Oman Sea will also be rough and turbulent. To prevent unfortunate incidents, swimming should be avoided and the movement of light and recreational boats should be restricted. Additionally, the entry and exit of ships to the port should be conducted with caution.

In these conditions, it can be easily expected that heavy rains and strong winds, especially in the northern regions of the country, will affect the daily lives of people. Therefore, citizens should always pay attention to weather warnings and take necessary precautions.
