Rain and moderate traffic on northern routes to Tehran have recently become a significant issue for travelers and drivers. Colonel Nasser Gholinia, head of the Traffic Control and Information Center of the Fara Ja Police, reported rain in some of the routes in the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Kurdistan. These rains have caused traffic on the routes leading to Tehran.
Traffic Situation on Key Routes
Colonel Gholinia explained the latest weather and traffic conditions on the roads, stating that on the south to north Karaj–Chalus route, the Siyah-Bisheh area is facing moderate traffic. Additionally, on the Qazvin–Karaj highway, moderate traffic is observed between Shahid Kalantari Terminal and Fardis Bridge, as well as on the Karaj–Tehran highway between Fardis Bridge and Kolak Bridge. This situation may affect travel time and travelers' planning.

Advice to Drivers
Furthermore, Colonel Gholinia urged drivers to adhere to traffic regulations and to be informed about the latest weather and traffic conditions before starting their journey. This is especially important during the rainy season, as weather conditions can change suddenly and present more challenges for drivers. Urban routes are also affected by the rains, and traffic in these areas may increase as well.
Colonel Gholinia also advised drivers to avoid unnecessary trips and, if travel is necessary, to proceed with greater caution. This caution includes maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles and reducing speed in rainy conditions. Rain can reduce visibility and make roads slippery, so drivers need to be more vigilant.
Finally, based on weather forecasts, rain is expected to continue in the coming days. Therefore, travelers and drivers should be adequately prepared to face weather and traffic conditions.
