Majid Al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported on Doha's efforts to resume negotiations between Iran and the United States on the sidelines of the "Qatar Economic Forum" in New York. He stated that American officials have emphasized that Washington is seeking to reach an agreement.

Qatar's Diplomatic Efforts

Al-Ansari explained that in recent weeks, Qatar has been exchanging views with Tehran and Washington to create a suitable environment for resuming negotiations. He also pointed out the importance of bridging the gaps between the two sides, saying: "We are working to find the right moment to advance the negotiations."

This Qatari diplomat also emphasized the United States' willingness to reach an agreement and resolve the war, stating: "We have heard statements from various U.S. government officials indicating the United States' desire to reach a solution."

Necessary Conditions for an Agreement

Al-Ansari noted that any solution to end the war must ensure regional stability and lead to the establishment of an international understanding to protect key waterways, including the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Mike Waltz, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, announced at a meeting in New York that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, is determined to ensure that Iran will never be able to use nuclear weapons. He also added that if Iran acts in good faith, the doors for negotiations will be open to the country.

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has also stated in an interview that Tehran has communicated its conditions to the U.S. through intermediaries and is awaiting Trump's response.

Shortage of Influenza Vaccine in Iran

On the other hand, Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic, reported the lack of distribution of legitimate influenza vaccines in Iran and urged people to refrain from purchasing unverified vaccines. He warned that the vaccines available in the market may be related to incorrect formulations.

With a severe shortage of medicine and vaccines, especially among at-risk groups, there are significant concerns in society. Kermanpour also mentioned that the supply and transfer of European vaccines have not yet been confirmed. Meanwhile, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, the Minister of Health, has reported the gradual arrival of vaccines from China and Russia into the country.

Currently, the limitations imposed by war and sanctions have severely reduced Iran's access to pharmaceutical resources, and domestic vaccine production has also been disrupted.

In conclusion, Heiko Maas, the German Foreign Minister, has traveled to New York as the head of his country's delegation to the United Nations General Assembly and emphasized efforts to resolve crises. He criticized that the prospect of sustainable coexistence has turned into a pattern of persistent tensions.
