The President, in sharp and critical remarks, referred to the current situation of European powers and said: "Europe has exited the cycle of influence in international developments due to its passivity and inability to respond to global changes." These remarks were made following widespread criticisms regarding the behavior of European countries in dealing with the United States, especially concerning the JCPOA and snapback.

Europe's Silence Against the United States

Pezeshkian, referring to the hostile actions of the United States towards Iran and other countries, emphasized that European countries, due to being overshadowed by these actions, have been unable to play an effective role in international developments. He added: "This passivity has led European countries to be sidelined instead of acting as an influential power on the global stage."

Consequences of Europe's Diminished Influence

The President also pointed to the negative consequences of this situation for European countries and said: "The reduction of Europe's influence not only affects global security and stability but will also have negative impacts on the economy and international relations." Expressing concern about the future of international relations, he stated that Europe's passive behavior could lead to increased tensions and instability in various regions of the world.

Pezeshkian, highlighting the need for a new and more active approach from European countries, called for a reassessment of their foreign policies. He emphasized that European countries should seek to revive their role as an independent and effective power on the global stage instead of following U.S. policies.

These remarks come at a time when global developments indicate rapid changes in international relations and global powers. Therefore, it seems that European countries need to think of ways to return to the sphere of influence in international developments.
