Nasim Arab-Amiri, the writer of the series 'Experimental Version', explores a world of humanoid robots and the challenges of living alongside them with an innovative idea in the world of television. This series, which examines the impact of artificial intelligence on families, has been airing on Channel Three since Saturday, October 10.
A Novel Idea Born from War
Arab-Amiri referred to the start of this project during the 12-day war and said: "Mr. Mohammadi called and said that Simafilm is eager to do something in the field of comedy and humor. At that time, I wrote a proposal on the subject of artificial intelligence." He explained that in this series, a family finds themselves alongside humanoid robots and enters a new world with the promise of renting a house for one million tomans a month.

This writer stated that his idea stemmed from a simple question: "What would happen if our neighbor were an artificial intelligence family?" This question led him to create an intriguing and meaningful story that fits well within today's society, where technology is rapidly advancing.
Differences from Similar Series
In response to the question of how they have tried to ensure this series does not resemble alien-themed series like 'The Visitors', Arab-Amiri said: "I had watched the series 3rd Rock from the Sun, which dealt with aliens coming to Earth. However, our series idea is different." He pointed to the natural movements of the robots and stated that over time, their behaviors will become similar to humans.
According to Arab-Amiri, while artificial intelligence is a legitimate science, the existence of aliens has yet to be proven and may be a superstition. He emphasized: "However, I can say that this is the first time such a series has been made in Iran, and there is no equivalent of it in foreign countries either."
A Future with Artificial Intelligence Neighbors
This writer noted the growing attention to artificial intelligence in foreign countries, saying: "Now in these countries, there is talk of humanoid robots that help humans in service and healthcare sectors. Therefore, it won't be long before we witness neighbors of artificial intelligence."
The series 'Experimental Version', as a comedic and social work, airs every Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday at 20:15 on Channel Three, promising a new and exciting experience in the world of television.
