Mojtaba Yousefi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly's Civil Commission, discussed the challenges of people's livelihoods and the necessity of unity in solving these issues in an interview. He pointed out that the gap between economic slogans and living realities prevents managers from properly understanding the crises of housing, low wages for workers and retirees.
Livelihood Challenges and the Gap with Reality
Yousefi stated that many economic slogans are raised at the macro level, noting that these slogans are practically far from the realities of people's daily lives. He said: "Managers should understand the existing realities instead of relying on statistics and figures, and pay attention to the real needs of the people. Otherwise, economic problems will continue, and people will face more challenges."

The Necessity of Unity and Solidarity Among People
This parliament representative also emphasized the need for unity among people to solve economic problems, stating: "We must seek solutions for improving living conditions through solidarity and cooperation. Only through unity and collective thinking can we achieve effective solutions that lead to better living conditions for the people."
Yousefi further referred to the housing situation, saying: "The housing crisis is one of the fundamental problems that requires special attention. People need suitable housing at reasonable prices, and this can only be achieved through cooperation and unity among various institutions."
He also addressed the wages of workers and retirees, stating: "The meager wages of workers and retirees have become one of the serious challenges today. To solve this problem, it is necessary to have a precise and coherent planning to increase the wages of these individuals to a level where they can secure their livelihoods."
In conclusion, Yousefi highlighted the need to pay attention to the economic problems of the people, saying: "I hope that with the unity and cooperation of all institutions and the people, we can soon find effective solutions to economic problems and provide a better life for the people."
