Mohammad Reza Ramazan, in the "Park Way" program on Hamshahri TV, pointed out the price fluctuations in the mobile market and explained that a price increase only indicates overpricing when a product is offered at a specified price in the market and the seller unjustifiably sells it at a much higher price. Currently, according to him, part of the price changes is related to a temporary reduction in the supply of certain models.
The Impact of Social Media on Consumer Concerns
Ramazan stated that the gap between placing an order and the arrival of goods can lead to a disruption in supply, noting that the mobile market is continuously monitored and that the overall market conditions currently have a relative balance. He advised consumers not to postpone their purchases solely due to concerns about potential price increases.

Government Priorities in Mobile Supply
The head of the Audio and Video Equipment Sellers Union pointed out the influence of social media on market expectations, stating that sometimes the publication of certain materials causes unrest and exacerbates consumer concerns. He also emphasized that price increases are not necessarily beneficial for sellers and that a decrease in transaction volume can affect the income and profits of shopkeepers.
Ramazan further noted the conditions of mobile phone imports in a wartime situation, stating that the phones available in the market can be divided into three categories: economic, mid-range, and flagship. According to him, the share of flagship phones in the market is about 5 to 10 percent, and the majority of demand is allocated to other price groups.
He added: Currently, the government's priority is to meet the general needs of the market and prevent shortages of mobile phones. For this reason, the allocation of currency and order registration for cheaper and mid-range phones has been prioritized. Given the limitations of foreign exchange resources and the necessity of securing essential goods and medicines, securing currency for the import of very expensive phones cannot be prioritized at the same level as essential goods.
Ramazan emphasized that market actors also wish for consumers to have access to the best phones and services, but the current conditions of the country must be considered in decisions related to imports and currency allocation. He stated that order registration and the entry of mobile phones into the country continues, expressing hope that with the continuation of supply and the completion of the import process, the market will achieve greater balance in about a month and that the intensity of price fluctuations in certain models will decrease.
