Drone and Missile Attacks
Saudi media also reported drone attacks targeting Riyadh. These attacks followed the firing of ballistic missiles towards Khamis Mushait, and sirens in the Abha and Khamis Mushait areas were activated to warn of danger. These military actions clearly demonstrate the severity of ongoing tensions in the region and could have serious implications for Saudi national security.
Air traffic monitoring stations also reported disruptions in flights over Riyadh, stating that this disruption lasted more than half an hour and several aircraft were left circling in the skies over the area. Many analysts believe that this situation could fuel military and political rivalries in the region. Saudi Arabia, recognized as a key player in this area, may respond to these attacks with military reactions.
Furthermore, these attacks could affect Saudi Arabia's relations with neighboring countries as well as global powers. As the international community seeks stability in the Middle East, such incidents only heighten concerns and could hinder diplomatic efforts to resolve crises.
