Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency in the digital market, has recently seen significant investment flowing into its exchange-traded funds. Last week, these funds attracted $2.39 billion in capital, marking their strongest week since October 2025. This influx of investment is clearly a sign of investors' optimism about Bitcoin's future.

Bitcoin's Price Downtrend and Analysts' Insights

Despite the influx of new capital, Bitcoin's price reached around $86,603 last week, but faced a decline as the week progressed. Michael van de Poppe, a renowned cryptocurrency market analyst, stated on the social media platform X that Bitcoin needs to surpass the $84,800 level to continue its upward momentum. He has predicted that if this level is broken, Bitcoin may move towards the $90,000 levels.

Positive Sentiment Among Traders and Macroeconomic Factors

However, the cryptocurrency market is influenced by macroeconomic factors. Personal consumption expenditure data, recognized as an important inflation indicator for the Federal Reserve, will be released on Wednesday, September 30. Tom Lee from Fundstrat commented that the release of this data could be beneficial for the cryptocurrency market. He believes that the new method of calculating this indicator could reduce core inflation and allow the Federal Reserve to somewhat retreat from its hawkish stance.

Positive sentiment among retail traders has also contributed to optimism in the market. According to StockTwits, the number of Bitcoin followers on this platform increased by over 125% last week. This indicates renewed interest and enthusiasm from investors towards Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.

Overall, despite the volatility and challenges in the market, recent analyses and data suggest that Bitcoin is on the brink of a new growth phase. Investors are closely monitoring price levels and waiting to see if the anticipated upward trend materializes.
