Mehdi Pirhadi, the head of the Health, Environment, and Urban Services Commission of the Tehran City Council, supported the implementation of the zero inflation plan by the Tehran Municipality, considering it an effective step towards improving the livelihoods of families. He emphasized that "wanting and being able" finds meaning in this plan and pointed out its key features.
Price Stabilization and Its Impacts
Pirhadi explained the zero inflation plan, stating: "Price stabilization is one of the issues present in this plan and it has effects on other sectors as well. This includes eliminating intermediaries, direct purchases from producers, and developing direct supply of goods to the people." He noted that one of the most important features of this plan is its direct attention to people's livelihoods, highlighting that today one of the serious concerns for families is the issue of inflation and price fluctuations of essential goods.

Implementation of the Plan and Covered Goods
The head of the Health, Environment, and Urban Services Commission of the Tehran City Council further referred to the details of the plan's implementation, stating: "In the first phase, the prices of 12 essential goods will be fixed for 6 months. These goods will be made available to the public through fruit and vegetable markets and Shahrvand stores." He emphasized that this plan is directly related to the people's table and allows families to plan for their living expenses.
Pirhadi also mentioned the positive impacts of this plan on the environment, saying: "Reducing non-physical trips through ordering goods in Shahrezad and home delivery helps reduce air pollution." He added that urban management cannot reduce overall inflation, but has planned for 12 essential goods, and if other agencies also take serious action on this issue, it will bring about more positive effects.
In conclusion, he referred to the cooperation of guilds with the Tehran Municipality in this regard, stating: "The municipality must utilize all its capacities to ensure the successful progress of the zero inflation plan." He also urged the municipality to continuously evaluate this plan and, if possible, increase the number of goods and supply centers. Pirhadi emphasized that the goal of this plan is to reduce the pressure of living costs and create more stability in the shopping basket of Tehranian households.
