In a significant international conference, Mohammad Reza Pezeshkian, the President, expressed serious concerns regarding the security of the country's peaceful nuclear facilities, pointing to potential dangers that may threaten these facilities. He announced that, under the current circumstances, prioritizing the security of these facilities is essential.
Countering Unjust Sanctions
Pezeshkian further added: "A serious and operational response to unilateral and unjust sanctions must also be on the agenda. These sanctions have not only negatively impacted the country's economy but can also jeopardize national security." He emphasized the need for international cooperation and active diplomacy to reduce tensions.
This warning comes at a time when tensions in international relations, especially regarding nuclear issues, have reached their peak, and concerns about potential attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities have intensified. Pezeshkian stressed: "We must address these issues with seriousness and vigilance to defend our national interests."
The President also pointed out the necessity of internal cooperation and increasing public awareness regarding existing dangers and challenges, stating: "Ensuring the security of nuclear facilities requires comprehensive participation, and this responsibility cannot be managed alone."
