Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, during a meeting with entrepreneurs and economic process owners, emphasized the continuation of dialogue and negotiations with America. He stated that they have never shied away from dialogue, adding: "We defend our rights and will maintain the dignity and pride of Iran."

Economic Challenges and the Role of Entrepreneurs

Pezeshkian referred to the country's wartime conditions in this meeting and stated that the sanctions and pressures from America have had serious impacts on Iran's oil exports. According to him, oil exports, as the main source of government revenue, have nearly reached zero, and the exchange rate continues to break records.

He further called for active participation from entrepreneurs in overcoming production barriers and improving the business environment, emphasizing that economic decisions should not exceed the community's tolerance. Economic policies, according to Pezeshkian, must have social attachments to align with the realities of society.

Economic Approaches in Current Conditions

The President of Iran also addressed the government's efforts in managing the current situation and described the government's performance as satisfactory despite the complexities and difficulties. He announced that removing barriers and increasing interactions with neighboring countries have helped boost exports and imports. Pezeshkian stated: "Despite maritime restrictions, land routes for economic interactions with countries like Pakistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan have expanded."

These statements come at a time when, due to international pressures, the Iranian economy is facing serious challenges. Air communications with neighboring countries have been disrupted, and financial and commercial exchanges are also encountering problems.

In conclusion, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of dialogue and negotiations with America, stating that Iran will never flee from this process. His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and America, with the future of relations between the two countries shrouded in uncertainty.
