Progress of Construction and Safety Projects in Various Areas
In Region 4, the construction of a new building for Fire Station No. 17 has entered a critical phase of finishing work after the completion of the final concrete pouring. Hassan Hedayati, the technical and construction deputy of the mayor of Region 4, announced that with the use of over 180 tons of concrete, this project will soon reach the finishing and installation of specialized equipment stage.
In Region 6, the first green police station in the capital has been established in the Sanayi neighborhood with the aim of providing specialized training on environmental missions to law enforcement personnel. Hassan Ekhtardaneh, the urban services and environment deputy of the mayor of Region 6, described this initiative as an important step towards enhancing environmental awareness and establishing waste separation infrastructure.
Preventive Measures for Water Management and Traffic Safety
Mohammad Hadi Ali Ahmadi, the mayor of Region 7, announced the dredging of 44,000 meters of covered waterways in sensitive areas of this region to prevent flooding during the rainy season. This action includes Sepah Square, Enqelab Street, Damavand Street, and Shahid Soleimani Street.
In Region 9, Mahdi Norouzi, the transportation and traffic deputy of the mayor, reported on the installation and completion of guardrails in the east-west loop of the Imam Khomeini Highway intersection, aimed at safely directing traffic flow and preventing vehicles from leaving the path.
In Region 11, Mahdi Qomi, the mayor, announced the implementation of 24 initiatives to address neighborhood issues and improve the quality of life for citizens. These actions include addressing hazardous points, organizing abandoned properties, and upgrading pathways in various streets.
In Region 13, Seyed Mohammad Rahim Mortezaei, the mayor, announced the construction of a new pathway to facilitate citizens' access to the Science and Technology Park. This new pathway is being constructed from Shahid Afseri Azar Street.
In Region 20, Majid Fathali Zadeh, the technical and construction deputy of the mayor, reported on the relocation of conflicting power poles in the historical neighborhood of Nafarab. This action is being carried out to remove infrastructural obstacles and facilitate the renovation of the dilapidated fabric of this area.
In Region 21, Parham Bani Abbas, the director of the neighborhood participation management headquarters, announced the renovation of the Chitgar Southern neighborhood house, which will be demolished due to the building's old age and the necessity for improvement, and a new building will be constructed to provide a suitable space for cultural, educational, and sports services.
Finally, Mohammad Javad Khosravi, the mayor of Region 22, announced the revival of five water ponds in the "Tehran Waterfall" park. This operation includes updating water pumping equipment, renewing signage, and piping in various sections of the park, completed with the aim of preserving and maintaining the quality of this green space.
