Nobitex, Bitpin, and Arzinja, three active cryptocurrency exchanges in Iran, have regained access to banking services after addressing the reported violations and making the necessary corrections. This decision by the Central Bank followed a three-day restriction imposed on these exchanges due to certain violations.
Details of the Restrictions
Yesterday, the Central Bank announced that the restrictions began at 4 PM on Tuesday, October 20, and affected five cryptocurrency exchanges. These restrictions were implemented to prevent users of these platforms from making rial deposits and withdrawals for three days. This decision was made to oversee banking services and maintain the health of the cryptocurrency market.

Return to Banking Services
After making the necessary corrections and addressing the violations, Nobitex, Bitpin, and Arzinja have regained access to banking services. However, two other exchanges, namely Ramzinex and Tetherland, remain under restrictions and do not have access to banking services. The Central Bank has clarified that the deadline set for these companies is calculated from the date of receipt of the circular, and it seems that these restrictions will not be lifted soon.
Consequences of This Action for Users
The lifting of restrictions for Nobitex, Bitpin, and Arzinja means a return to normalcy for users of these platforms. Users can once again make their rial deposits and withdrawals and benefit from the banking services of these exchanges. This is particularly important for users looking to engage in business activities and investment in cryptocurrencies.
However, there are also concerns about the continuity of oversight and the possibility of such restrictions being repeated. Users and cryptocurrency market participants hope that the Central Bank will focus on strengthening infrastructure and creating transparent regulations in this area instead of imposing repeated restrictions.
