Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, conducted a test of a new suicide drone during a visit to the country's military industrial facilities. This action took place as Pyongyang seeks to strengthen its military capabilities and draw inspiration from recent battle experiences, particularly the developments in the Ukraine war.
Suicide Drone Test
During this visit, released images show that Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the field testing operation of a suicide drone. This drone dove towards a simulated target resembling enemy armored vehicles and struck it with a massive explosive impact. Defense experts, examining these drones, noted their delta wing design and believe these features enable them to evade low-altitude defense radars.

Presence of Kim Ju-ae
A notable aspect of this test was the constant presence of Kim Ju-ae, Kim Jong Un's daughter, alongside her father. This repeated presence, seen during visits to ballistic missile launchers, bombers, and now the production lines of deadly drones, clearly indicates a calculated project by Pyongyang to introduce her as the next heir to power. Analysts of the Korean Peninsula believe this action sends a clear message to Seoul and Washington: North Korea's aggressive military doctrine will not change for generations.
North Korea is investing heavily in the construction of vessels and unmanned aerial vehicles to enhance its military power. The country is striving to align itself with other military powers in today's world and to leverage experiences from recent battles.
