Issuance of 19 Preliminary Approvals for Tourism Investment Projects in Hormozgan

Sanaz Ramji, head of the Investment Department of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hormozgan, announced the issuance of 19 preliminary approvals for tourism investment projects in the province. This action aims to develop tourism infrastructure, distribute facilities evenly, and boost the economy in the province.

Diversity of Investment Projects

Ramji detailed these projects, stating: "These projects include eco-lodges, tourism complexes, recreational and entertainment centers, coastal and marine tourism centers, and traditional tea houses." She emphasized the importance of these projects in enhancing the tourism service chain and enriching travel experiences in the province.

Geographical Distribution of Projects

The 19 approved projects are scattered across various locations in Hormozgan province. Bandar Abbas County has the highest share with 12 projects. Additionally, 3 projects have been approved in Bandar Lengeh County, 2 projects in Bastak, 1 project in Bashagard, and 1 project in Hajiabad. This geographical distribution reflects the effort to develop tourism in all areas of the province.

The head of the Investment Department of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hormozgan further noted the economic aspects of these projects, stating: "The total estimated investment for the implementation of these projects is over 6090 billion rials." According to her, with the completion and final operation of these projects, direct employment opportunities for 296 people will be created at the provincial level.
