Iran has conveyed its seven conditions to the United States, and this country is currently in a decision-making position. A senior Iranian security source stated this in an interview and emphasized that the reports from Western media regarding ongoing negotiations are false. According to this source, the reason for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is the failure of the Americans to fulfill their commitments, and this clearly indicates that the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened through tweets and media reports.
Conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz
Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, explained that the seven-day plan for reopening the Strait of Hormuz will commence once the United States accepts this program. Araqchi added: "If this happens tomorrow, the implementation of the plan will begin at that time. If the necessary actions are taken, we believe we can complete this process within four or five days; so that on the sixth day the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and on the seventh day, the United States will enter for a final agreement."

Necessary actions required from the United States
Araqchi also emphasized that the necessary actions from the United States have previously been communicated to this country and are framed within a memorandum of understanding. He stated: "If there is the necessary seriousness from the American side, this will happen and the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened again." These statements indicate that Iran is ready to negotiate and reach an agreement with the United States, but at the same time expects the other party to fulfill its commitments.
As tensions in the region are escalating, these negotiations could have significant impacts on the economic and security situation of the Persian Gulf. Given the importance of the Strait of Hormuz as a vital route for oil transportation and global trade, reopening this strait could help reduce tensions and improve relations between Iran and the United States.
