Indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States will soon begin in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The American delegation will join these talks, and hopes for reaching a new agreement in various areas, especially Iran's nuclear program, have increased.
Return of the Iranian negotiating team to Doha
The Iranian negotiating team, along with Qatari mediators, has returned from Tehran to Doha to continue discussions aimed at reaching an agreement between Iran and the United States. These negotiations are set to resume on Saturday, and according to diplomatic sources, progress has also been made following the recent visit of the Qatari mediation team to Tehran.

Initial agreements and groundwork for negotiations
These developments have occurred following an agreement on initial measures regarding Iran's nuclear program, shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and financial incentives for Tehran. China and Russia have been recognized as guarantors of this agreement. Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts led by Qatar and Pakistan are underway to prevent a resurgence of conflict. This comes as the United States has also increased its threats regarding potential new attacks against Iran.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced on Friday that the war with Iran will "soon" come to an end and has asked Tehran to provide guarantees regarding the non-acquisition of nuclear weapons. Iran has consistently emphasized that its nuclear program is peaceful and has no intention of building a nuclear bomb.
Pressure from regional countries for an agreement
In this context, regional countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia have urged Iran to agree to resume negotiations before the midterm elections in the United States. An American official has also suggested that if the Republicans fail in these elections, Trump may lean towards issuing an order for a broader military operation.
This official also stated: "If Trump feels humiliated or sidelined, he may take bold action. This is what everyone is telling the Iranian side: now is the best opportunity to reach an agreement."
