Hossein Abraghi Nejad, defender of Persepolis football team, stated about his challenges in this team: "At first, I had a very tough situation in Persepolis and I had deactivated my Instagram page. The fans were right; I came instead of Golsyani and had to prove myself by any means." He continued by referring to how he joined Persepolis, adding: "Initially, I was on Kartal's list, but then Hashemian said he needed me and wanted to recruit me with a plan."
National Challenges and Injuries
Abraghi Nejad referred to his experience in national games and said: "The game against Russia was my first national match, and I was very stressed. I thank God I was a starter, but unfortunately, I got injured in the next game, and this injury kept me away from the national team." He continued that after being called to the camp, he could not go to the World Cup due to injury.

This Persepolis defender reacted to Bifuma's performance in the game against Khyber, saying: "Bifuma is a very strong footballer and thought the ball would score, which is why he missed the one-on-one. Yasser Asani is really quality, and Bifuma, Asani, and Orunov performed better than the Iranian players."
Football Experiences and Aspirations
Abraghi Nejad, referring to his position change, said: "I was initially a defensive midfielder, and now I have been playing as a central defender for 4 years. Maybe if I had stayed as a midfielder, I wouldn't have reached Persepolis." He also mentioned his progress in the Premier League, saying: "I am 30 years old and have a good feeling about Khorramabad. I really love this city."
The Persepolis defender continued to talk about the team's conditions, saying: "The number of players in the same position strengthens everyone. Bifuma is not the same Bifuma as last year and is performing beyond last season. Tartaar is a very strict person, and the players' performance in training is also important to him."
In the end, Abraghi Nejad addressed the team's accommodation situation in Babak city, saying: "They haven't provided us with a hotel, and apparently, our accommodation in this city resembles the organizational houses of the oil company." He also recalled his experiences in the youth and U23 teams of Persepolis, adding: "I was in the third league and said one day I would come to Persepolis; my teammates laughed, but it became a reality."
