Gholam Naeimi goes to the Minab Martyrs' Cemetery every afternoon to soothe his longings with the memory of his daughter Malihe, who lost her life in a tragic incident. Malihe Naeimi, the martyr teacher of Shajareh Tabiyeh School, was killed in a missile attack on March 1, 2025, and since that day, every afternoon has been the saddest moment for Gholam.

Remembering Sweet Moments

Gholam visits his daughter's grave to remember the sweet and happy days he had with Malihe. He brings a jar of water and a bottle of rosewater to her grave and believes he hears Malihe's voice kindly asking about him. In these moments, sweet memories of Malihe's childhood come alive in his mind, days when she wanted to become a teacher and dedicate her life to education.

The Bitter Silence of War and Separation

Gholam recalls the details of that tragic day. With tears and sorrow, he remembers Malihe's voice informing him about the war. Her voice reached his ears at that moment: 'Booa, did you hear the news? There’s a war, they are firing missiles...'. After the explosions, Gholam and his wife Sofoora were fleeing towards the school, and due to traffic and the crisis situation, they can never forget those horrifying moments.

With tearful eyes, Gholam says: 'I had so many tears that I couldn't tell if this dismembered body was my daughter's or not...'. In these days, he visits the martyrs' cemetery in memory of his daughter and empathizes with other grieving fathers and mothers. In this place, not only is Malihe's memory alive, but also the bitter and sweet memories of other families are recalled.

With all his longings, in memory of Malihe and her dreams, he now has two grandchildren named Parnia and Arya, who are waiting for him to pack their mother's books to donate to schools in underprivileged areas. This act not only keeps Malihe's memory alive but also signifies the continuation of her path in educating future generations.
