Ghobad Moradi, head of the Communicable Disease Management Center, emphasized the importance of complete vaccination of children in his recent press conference, stating: "The most important recommendation that can be made in this regard is that if children's vaccinations are completed, this disease cannot pose a serious and significant risk." These remarks come at a time when concerns about the spread of infectious diseases in society have increased.

Increased Social Contacts and the Risk of Disease Spread

Moradi further added: "Increased social contacts have heightened the likelihood of transmitting lice and scabies. These diseases can be easily treated with timely diagnosis." In recent years, the spread of lice and scabies in schools and educational centers has become a serious concern, necessitating awareness and timely action from families and authorities.

Medical Services and the Stray Animal Problem

The head of the Communicable Disease Management Center also referred to the issue of animal bites, stating: "Last year, 440,000 people received services due to animal bites." He warned about the problem of stray dogs, emphasizing that anyone who owns a dog must vaccinate it against rabies. This point is particularly important for families with young children.

Moradi concluded the session by highlighting the importance of raising awareness in the community to prevent infectious diseases, stating that the Ministry of Health and relevant organizations must seriously pursue educational and informational programs. Given the current conditions and the spread of diseases, cooperation between families and health systems can help reduce risks.
