A fatal accident that occurred this morning on the Tehran-Saveh road claimed the lives of four people and seriously injured several others. This incident took place at 5:35 AM on the Saveh-Tehran axis at kilometer 18 in Markazi Province.
Details of the Accident
In this incident, a Benz truck collided with a Volvo bus that was traveling from Iwan, Ilam to Karaj. At the time of the accident, the bus had 25 passengers, of whom unfortunately, 7 were injured and four lost their lives as a result of the collision. Among the deceased were two men and two women, three of whom died at the scene and one in the hospital.

Cause of the Accident and Police Investigation
Colonel Siavash Mohibi, head of the traffic police of Faraja, announced that the cause of this accident was the driver's lack of attention due to fatigue and drowsiness. Currently, the truck driver has fled, and police efforts to identify and apprehend him are ongoing. This incident once again emphasizes the importance of adhering to traffic laws and being mindful of drivers' physical conditions.
Road accidents are considered a serious problem in the country, and this tragic event serves as a reminder of the need for greater attention to road safety and the training of drivers to prevent similar incidents.
