Farzaneh Sadegh, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, in her latest statements emphasized the importance of providing suitable housing for households with disabled members and announced that these households must have a villa within a maximum of three months. This action is aimed at improving the living conditions of this group in society, which requires special attention due to their specific circumstances.

Emphasis on Resolving Housing Project Issues

Sadegh mentioned the urgent need to resolve issues related to housing projects with less than 20% physical progress. She said: "Many projects cannot be constructed or inhabited due to inappropriate site selection, and suitable alternatives must be provided as soon as possible." She also added: "In previous years, money was taken from people without considering the provision of suitable locations, which is absolutely unacceptable."

Need for Transparency with the Public

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized the importance of dialogue and transparency with the public, noting that merely allocating land cannot solve the housing issue. She added: "Lottery and allocation of lands that cannot be prepared will not solve any problems." Sadegh referred to the high costs of preparing lands and the inappropriate placement of some of them, saying: "Many of these lands are located in unsuitable areas, such as near high-voltage power lines, which must be resolved as soon as possible."

Utilizing Government Land Resources

Farzaneh Sadegh also emphasized the use of government land resources to support housing projects, stating: "About 60 trillion tomans of land from the National Land and Housing Organization and New Cities Development Company should be used as a backing for supportive housing projects to provide financial support for needy households." She referred to the efforts made to resolve the status of 850,000 units of national housing projects and emphasized the necessity of continuing this process.

Attention to Youth Population and Housing for the Underprivileged

Furthermore, she discussed the provision of land for projects related to the youth population and housing for the underprivileged, saying: "In cities, especially small towns, wherever suitable land exists, it should be allocated for the people." Given the community's need for housing, Sadegh emphasized the necessity of identifying households with five or more disabled members and called for expediting this process.

In conclusion, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized the need to expedite the provision of resources required for the reconstruction of areas affected by the Ramadan War, stating: "Securing 2.5 trillion tomans for this purpose must be prioritized." These statements reflect the government's firm determination to address housing issues and improve the living conditions of needy households.
