Brigadier General Zargam Azin, head of the Special Operations Center of the Criminal Investigation Police, announced the identification and dismantling of a theft gang accused of over 60 home burglaries in Tehran. This gang used various vehicles to commit their crimes and was specifically active in certain areas of Tehran.
Investigations and Identification of Thieves
Police investigations began following an increase in thefts and public concerns in this regard. Detectives, by attending the crime scenes and gathering information from victims, identified common patterns among the thefts. Investigations revealed that the thieves entered targeted areas at specific times using vehicles with fake or stolen license plates to commit the thefts.
