Today, Saturday, November 2, 2026, the gold and coin market in Iran experienced a downward trend, with prices significantly decreasing. According to the rates announced by the Union of Gold Sellers and Manufacturers, the price of 18-carat gold reached 26 million and 183 thousand tomans. Additionally, the price of the old design full Bahar Azadi coin decreased to 258 million and 500 thousand tomans, while the new design full Bahar Azadi coin also fell to 266 million and 500 thousand tomans.

Details of Coin and Half-Coin Prices in the Market

Furthermore, the price of the half Bahar Azadi coin reached 140 million and 300 thousand tomans, the quarter Bahar coin reached 74 million and 400 thousand tomans, and the one-gram coin reached 38 million tomans. This price drop occurred while the global gold ounce and the price of the dollar were also influenced by various factors moving downward.

Impact of the Decline in Global Gold Ounce and Dollar on the Iranian Market

The drop in the global gold ounce below the resistance level of 4000 dollars and the decrease in the dollar price in the domestic market are among the main reasons for this stagnation in the gold and coin market. Currently, the global gold ounce has reached around 3993 dollars. Additionally, the price of the dollar in the domestic market has returned to the 269 thousand tomans corridor, with a drop of one thousand tomans compared to the last cash transactions of last week.

These developments in the gold and coin market indicate severe economic fluctuations and their direct impact on the daily lives of people. Many investors and gold buyers are currently approaching buying and selling in this market with more caution, trying to stay safe from price fluctuations. Given this situation, it seems that the gold and coin market will continue to be influenced by both domestic and external factors in the near future.
