Diversity of Flowers and Festival Goals
The Chrysanthemum and Pomegranate Festival started in mid-November and will continue until December 30. In this event, over 100 species of chrysanthemums with a diversity of more than 600 color shades in various forms such as full bloom, semi-bloom, red, yellow, purple, white, and orange are displayed. Chrysanthemums are considered native plants of Iran, and every year in this season, various species create a multi-colored and exquisite tableau in the botanical garden.
Among the goals of holding this festival are presenting the latest research findings, introducing Iran's capabilities in cultivating and producing ornamental flowers and plants, as well as creating a foundation for commercialization and promoting the culture of growing and consuming ornamental flowers and plants.
Alongside the Chrysanthemum Festival, the Pomegranate Festival is also held to support Iranian producers and facilitate citizens' access to organic products and their derivatives. Stalls featuring ethnic souvenirs, traditional music, and decorative foods are also set up at the entrance of the botanical garden for visitors. Among the pomegranate sales booths, various derivatives such as pomegranate juice, fruit leather, and pomegranate paste are also offered, which have many fans.
The botanical garden is a magical place for wandering, learning, and creating memories among stunning flowers and plants. This place provides an unforgettable experience for all nature and flower enthusiasts. By attending this festival, visitors can experience the feeling of walking in paradise and enjoy the autumn beauty of this garden.
