European passenger flights faced serious disruptions on Thursday due to bomb threats. At least 10 flights from various routes were forced to change course and make emergency landings. These threats followed a series of similar warnings on Tuesday, which also led to widespread disruptions in European flights.
Emergency Situation in European Skies
An Airbus belonging to the Irish airline "Aer Lingus," which took off from Dublin on Thursday morning, changed its route due to the declaration of an emergency and landed at the "Evreux" airbase in northern France. This precautionary measure ensured that the passengers of this flight were safely transferred to their final destination.

The Finnish airline "Finnair" also reported that one of its planes flying from Helsinki to Rome was threatened with a bomb and was escorted by Air Force jets. However, this flight also landed as scheduled.
Security Inspections at Airports
In Prague, the Czech Republic police initiated inspections of four planes following threats about the presence of a "homemade bomb," but no explosives were found. This incident occurred just two days after at least seven other flights had also faced suspicious bomb threats. At that time, no explosives were discovered after inspections.
The airline "Aer Lingus" emphasized in a statement that the Dublin-Rome flight changed its route towards Normandy as a security precaution and landed safely. It was further stated that the airline would work to arrange the necessary measures to transfer passengers to their final destinations as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, a flight by the airline "Wizz Air" flying from Milan to Warsaw declared an emergency before changing its route towards Vienna. Nevertheless, there were no reports of a bomb threat, and the cause remains unclear.
These threats and security disruptions have raised concerns about the safety of passenger flights in European skies and highlighted the need for enhanced security measures.
