The Deputy of Literacy in Tehran recently addressed the issue of migration and its impact on public literacy in the city. According to him, despite the fact that 99.2% of the native population aged 10 to 49 in Tehran is literate, a significant portion of those entering the literacy movement have come from other regions and towns.
