A chain collision between several vehicles on Haraz road created a tragic incident for the drivers and passengers. This accident occurred at 7:01 AM on Sunday, October 5, 2026, in the vicinity of Abask. It involved 5 passenger cars and one truck.
Details of the incident and rescue operations
Gholamali Fakhari Ashrafi, the CEO of the Red Crescent Society of Mazandaran, explained that after receiving the report of the accident, rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. The vehicles involved in this chain collision included Saina, Tiba, Besturn, BMW, and MVM. Rescuers from the road rescue bases of Polour, Kahrud, and Gozank in Amol County arrived at the scene with 3 ambulances and one rescue vehicle.

Injured individuals and medical actions
In this accident, 10 people were injured, fortunately, none of them lost their lives. One of the injured was a pregnant woman, which raised specific concerns for the rescuers. 4 injured individuals were transferred to the Shangleh area by the Red Crescent, while the others were taken by Emergency 115. After initial medical actions, the injured were transported to 17 Shahrivar Hospital in Amol by 2 ambulance buses and one helicopter.
