Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alam al-Huda, at the thanksgiving conference for the opportunity to serve the walking pilgrims of Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) held at the Salavati Cultural Complex and the shrine of the Unknown Martyr Miqat al-Ridha (peace be upon him), praised the servants of the pilgrims and emphasized the importance of this service.

Praising the Servants of the Pilgrims

Ayatollah Alam al-Huda, expressing gratitude for the presence and efforts of those present, said: "The honor of hosting and serving the pilgrims of the Eighth Imam (peace be upon him) is like a valuable medal, and we hope your services will receive special attention from Imam Ridha (peace be upon him). In this case, in addition to worldly blessings, you will also benefit from the generosity of the Lord in the Hereafter."

Serving the Pilgrims, Collaborating with Imam Ridha (AS)

He emphasized that serving in the house of Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) is a service that has been confirmed by the signature of the Imam himself, stating: "This opportunity has been granted to you. Many people are in similar situations to yours, but they do not have this honor."

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Khorasan Razavi pointed out the significance of serving the pilgrims of Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) and said: "Perhaps among the various services performed in the presence of the Eighth Imam, serving the pilgrims is more appreciated by him than other services. Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) loves his pilgrims very much and has a special regard for his guests."

The Tradition of Hospitality of Imam Ridha (AS)

Ayatollah Alam al-Huda, mentioning the story of Imam Ridha's (peace be upon him) journey from Medina to Khorasan, referred to the eagerness of the Shiites of Iraq to visit him and said: "After the Imam settled in Marv, the Shiites of Iraq gathered caravans for pilgrimage. Bazanti, one of the companions of Imam Ridha (peace be upon him), narrates that after arriving in the presence of the Imam, he spent the night with him with love and hospitality."

He added: "This shows that if Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) loves a pilgrim, he himself comes to greet him and takes on the responsibility of hosting. You, the servants of the pilgrims, are now truly collaborators with Imam Ridha (peace be upon him), and you do not know who the pilgrim that has approached you might be."

Ayatollah Alam al-Huda, emphasizing the importance of collaborating with Imam Ridha (peace be upon him) in serving the pilgrims, urged those present to cherish this honor and serve the pilgrims with love and affection, as this service not only brings them closer to the pilgrims but also to the Imam himself.
