Amirhossein Mahmoudi, the young winger of Persepolis, responded to rumors about his departure from the team and joining Tractor by posting a photo of himself in the red jersey. In recent days, some media outlets reported the possibility of this player's loan or permanent transfer in the mid-season, and these speculations were linked to his limited opportunity to play in the new season.
Meaningful Photo of Mahmoudi
In his latest story, Mahmoudi shared images of himself kissing the Persepolis jersey. Next to this image, he used a heart and a red flag, clearly showing his love for the Persepolis jersey without writing any explanation about the rumors. The publication of this photo amid recent discussions could be Mahmoudi's indirect response to news regarding his future.

Professional Path and Challenges
This image belongs to his time in the Persepolis youth team, where he was recognized as the top scorer. Interestingly, Mahmoudi has played in the youth, junior, young, and hope teams of the Reds. Last season, he was introduced to Persepolis fans during a match against Foolad, and scoring against Chadormalu drew more attention to this young player.
Although Mahmoudi has also been called up to the Iranian national team, he has not had many opportunities to repeat his good performances this season, with his total minutes on the field for Persepolis reaching 26 minutes. The intense competition in the attacking section of the team has made it difficult for this 20-year-old player to reach the main lineup.
Contract Status and Future
Alongside the issue of playing minutes, Mahmoudi's contract status has also been a focus in recent weeks. His current contract with Persepolis is valid until 2028, and the club is working to improve the financial conditions of this contract. However, a final agreement for its renewal has not yet been announced.
Mehdi Tartar, the head coach of Persepolis, expressed his disappointment after the match against Naft regarding the lack of playtime for Mahmoudi and Mohammad Hossein Sadeghi, highlighting the challenges facing this young player. In the next match against Khyber, Mahmoudi also did not get the chance to play, and his wait to be on the field continues. This situation has impacted his professional future, and Persepolis fans hope that with his continued efforts, this player will soon be part of the main lineup.
