In this message, Amir Hatami referred to September 21 and the beginning of Sacred Defense Week, considering that day a reminder of a great epic that the Iranian nation displayed to safeguard the independence, dignity, and territorial integrity of the country. He emphasized that this day is a manifestation of the faith, selflessness, and struggle of the men and women who, in a great test, thwarted the plans of the enemies of this land with their steadfastness and sacrifice.

Preparedness of the Armed Forces Against Threats
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army continued by stating that after years of that glorious defense, the Iranian nation and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the same doctrine and relying on the invaluable experiences of the Sacred Defense, showcased new manifestations of their power and preparedness in the 12 and 40-day imposed wars. He confidently reminded that any aggression against the security and territorial integrity of Islamic Iran will face a decisive and regretful response.
Amir Hatami, referring to the recent imposed wars, stated that although these wars differ in form and tools from the Sacred Defense, they share a common truth with that era: the Iranian nation once again stands united against the aggression and greed of the enemy. He emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran defended the integrity and territorial sovereignty of the country based on faith, experience, and indigenous capabilities.
Lessons of the Sacred Defense and the Future of the Country
In another part of his message, Amir Hatami pointed out that the Sacred Defense taught us that reliance on faith and national will, unity and insight of the people, and the capabilities of the armed forces are a solid foundation for the security and power of the country. He also mentioned the fruits of years of struggle, self-belief, and defensive self-sufficiency, stating that these have led to the capabilities of the indigenous armed forces and their readiness to defend the skies, land, and waters of the country.
