Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, presented new programs for reducing social harms and talent identification in Tehran at the closing ceremony of the brainstorming session of the neighborhood management headquarters in Mashhad. In this session, he referred to the characteristics of believers and the principles of social management, emphasizing that love and service to the people should be prioritized.

Standing firm against problems and utilizing local capacities

Zakani pointed out that the resilience of the Iranian people against the system of dominance, especially against Trump, demonstrates the strength and steadfastness of the people in facing challenges. He stressed the need to overcome laziness and preserve the great legacy of the Islamic Revolution, stating: "Participatory management must be implemented as a principle in the administration of the metropolis of Tehran."

The mayor of Tehran, referring to his five years of management experience, spoke about the importance of "participatory management" and collaboration with the people as the main owners of the revolution. According to Zakani, this management approach can create a constructive environment for identifying elites and talents and assist in local organization.

Holding 52 events in 52 weeks of the year

Zakani announced that 52 events have been designed in 52 weeks of the year for identifying talents and elites. The jihadist centers of mosques will compete at the neighborhood level, and the winners will advance to district, regional, and city levels. These events not only create a platform for talent identification but can also help reduce harms such as addiction, divorce, and poverty.

He also referred to the establishment of 21 specialized headquarters in urban management, adding: "The third headquarters focuses on local organization and jihadist centers so that services can be visibly seen in people's lives."

Zakani emphasized the need to support neighborhood managers and announced the establishment of a "responsible and liaison element" in all areas to fill the communication gap between regions and neighborhood houses. He also stressed the need for cooperation with government agencies and the City Bank to register activities.

Transforming activities into an operational program in the economic war

Zakani stated that society should be divided into several segments and asked urban management servants to define work and positions for each of these segments. He rejected past views regarding increasing the cost of the capital to reduce traffic, emphasizing that "the art of jihad management is to reduce the cost of citizens' living and stabilize the prices of essential goods."

At the end, the mayor of Tehran referred to the success of the "I am the Mayor" campaign, stating that this campaign has grown from 353,000 to over two million citizens. Zakani hopes that through synergy, this vast popular network can lay the foundation for building a "strong Iran."
