Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, announced to reporters that 9.2 kilometers of Shahid Shushtari Highway has been inaugurated and the continuation of this project is on the agenda. This highway, recognized as one of Tehran's important infrastructure projects, is part of the municipality's efforts to develop the capital's highway network.
Development of Tehran's Highway Network
Zakani pointed out the importance of highway projects in facilitating traffic and improving the quality of life for citizens during this meeting. He added: "The development of Tehran's highway network will continue with the implementation of projects such as Shahid Shushtari Highway and Yadegar Imam Highway. These projects, as vital infrastructures, play a significant role in reducing traffic and facilitating access to various parts of the capital."
