The Role of Students in the History of Struggle Against Arrogance

The Minister of Education, recalling the exile of Imam Khomeini (RA) in 1964 and the seizure of the U.S. embassy in 1979, said: "Iranian students have always been at the forefront of the struggle against arrogance and in confronting the greed and oppression of dominating powers throughout different periods of history."

Kazemi also referred to the martyrdom of Mohammad Hossein Fahmideh on November 29 and called him a symbol of sacrifice, courage, and revolutionary identity of the students of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He said: "These days are commemorated on the occasion of the Student Basij Week."

Confronting Oppression and International Pressures

Kazemi continued to criticize U.S. policies, acknowledging that this country has acted against the Islamic Republic of Iran with pressures and sanctions over the past four decades. He stated: "We are the same students of 1978 and students of 1979, and we will not allow anyone to look down upon our beloved land of Iran. We stand against oppression and tyranny and will continue to do so."

The Minister of Education also emphasized that the U.S. does not want Iran's progress and stressed that awareness and vigilance are essential to countering imperialist policies. He urged students to feel responsible for the oppressed and the injustices faced by the Iranian nation.

Kazemi highlighted the importance of students' social participation in the school environment, emphasizing the necessity of their active presence in student organizations and scientific, educational, cultural, artistic, and sports activities. He said: "Struggle against arrogance and oppression is an intrinsic and innate issue that exists in the nature of all human beings."

He also stressed the importance of education and scientific effort, adding: "Knowledge and science can empower us to stand against the enemy. Today's students are standing on the peaks of knowledge through their efforts, and this has worried the enemy."

Kazemi concluded by referring to the missile and nuclear capabilities of the Islamic Republic, stating: "These powers are the result of the efforts of the country's distinguished students. We must strengthen our faith to be able to stand against our enemies."
