Al-Ansari clearly stated at the eighth Global Security Forum in Doha that Israeli leaders have no desire to advance the peace process. He emphasized the cooperation of Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt in efforts to achieve peace, pointing out the existing challenges and stating that Israel does not cooperate with this process.

Ongoing Challenges in the Gaza Strip

Al-Ansari expressed concern about the situation in the Gaza Strip, saying: "Qatar is cooperating with all regional parties to create the necessary conditions so that the current generation can have a vision for a hopeful future." He lamented the lack of a peace partner in Israel and noted that this situation cannot bring a sense of security to the residents of Israel.

Endless Suffering of Palestinians

Furthermore, Al-Ansari raised an important question: "How can Palestinians be asked to lay down their arms and turn to negotiations when the other side, namely Israel, does not fulfill this request?" These remarks were made while, on Tuesday, five Palestinians, including two children and a couple, were martyred and nine others were injured due to a ceasefire violation.

The Zionist regime has been waging a war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 (Mehr 15, 1402). The main goal of this war was to eliminate the Hamas movement and to retrieve Zionist captives from the region. However, despite endless efforts, this regime has failed to achieve its objectives and has been compelled to negotiate with Hamas for the exchange of prisoners.

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas officially announced on Mehr 17, 1404, that a peace agreement had been reached to end the war in the Gaza Strip and to exchange prisoners. Additionally, the Israeli army officially announced the implementation of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Mehr 18, 1404, although it continues to obstruct its execution.

The Israeli regime's aggression against the Gaza Strip, supported by the United States, has resulted in the genocide of Palestinians, killing over 74,000 people, injuring more than 175,000 others, and causing widespread destruction. According to estimates by the United Nations, the cost of rebuilding these damages is estimated to be around 70 billion dollars.
