The ACECR Center (Center for Education, Culture, and Research) is seeking to reassess its inefficient research centers and groups. Dr. Zahra Sheikhi, the Deputy for Research and Technology at this center, highlighted the importance of reviewing scientific structures and processes in a meeting attended by faculty members and researchers.
The Necessity of Reviewing Research Structures
In this meeting, Dr. Sheikhi stated that this review does not mean eliminating or reducing activities, but rather aims to allocate human, financial, and equipment resources to activities that have a clear mission, defined priorities, and real capacity to create value. She stated: "We must seek solutions that help us make the best use of existing capacities. In this regard, identifying and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of research centers is of special importance."
Impacts on the Quality of Research
This action can have positive and significant impacts on the quality of research and scientific projects. By focusing on centers and groups that perform well, better results can be expected in the scientific and research fields. Dr. Sheikhi emphasized that this review can also help improve the performance of students and researchers and steer the scientific environment towards innovation and progress.
At the end of this meeting, Dr. Sheikhi asked faculty members and researchers to provide their opinions and suggestions regarding this review. She said: "We are looking for a transparent and participatory process in which everyone can effectively participate and express their views. This is a good opportunity to improve and elevate the level of research at the ACECR Center."
