Abdolreza Karim Pour Malekshah, the head of the Mazandaran Management and Planning Organization, today referred to the importance of data-driven governance in the administrative council of Babolsar and said: "For development, access to accurate and reliable information for decision-making is essential." He emphasized the need for precise information to create the infrastructure for the province's development, stating that Mazandaran faces the movement of a floating population and the influx and outflux of migrants.

Allocation of Credits Based on the Floating Population

Karim Pour Malekshah continued: "Currently, the allocation of credits is done based on the population of the counties, and in the new census, efforts will be made to consider the floating and migrant population in the development and distribution models of credits." He also referred to the implementation of the 1405 general census of population and housing based on registration methods and said: "In this method, the least amount of visits to households is conducted using data produced by executive agencies, and only in special cases, field visits are made to verify information."

Collaboration of People and Officials in the Census

This official requested the people of the province to cooperate with the Statistical Center of Iran and the Mazandaran Management and Planning Organization in conducting the census. He added: "Governors, district governors, and village heads also play a decisive role in completing and ensuring the accuracy of demographic information, as planning for the development of villages, districts, and counties requires precise data."

Karim Pour Malekshah expressed hope that with the completion of demographic information, the groundwork for more accurate planning for the development of various regions of the province would be established, and its effects would be evident in the development process of counties and villages.

Ghorbanali Valizadeh, the mayor of Babolsar, also referred to the issue of the floating population in Mazandaran during this meeting and called for the prediction of national credits commensurate with the volume of services provided by this province. He emphasized that the issue of the floating population of Mazandaran, especially in Babolsar county, has not been properly anticipated in planning and financial resource allocation.

Valizadeh added: "Mazandaran province provides services to a significant population beyond its resident population, and it is essential to predict national credits commensurate with this responsibility and the volume of services provided." He also referred to the readiness of Babolsar county to conduct the 1405 general census of population and housing and urged district governors and executive agencies in the county to cooperate fully with census officials to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

Valizadeh emphasized: "Accurate statistics are the basis for decision-making and planning, and the proper implementation of the census can play a significant role in improving planning and resource allocation."
