Abdolmahtab Mohammadkhani, the spokesperson for the Tehran Municipality, in his latest statements announced the opening of three construction and infrastructure projects in Tehran in the coming months. These projects are designed to facilitate traffic and improve the quality of life for citizens, and it is expected that they will soon bring about a transformation in the field of transportation and urban infrastructure.
Opening of Highways and Overpasses
One of the important projects that is in the operational phase is the second phase of the western branch of the Yadegar Imam Highway (the west to north route). With the completion of this highway, residents of southwest Tehran and those traveling from the Saveh highway will be able to easily benefit from the reduced traffic. Mohammadkhani expressed hope that this project will be operational by the end of Aban.
