Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, emphasized in his latest statements that Iran is currently ready for any scenario. He clarified that the country's diplomatic efforts are primarily aimed at preventing war, but at the same time, Tehran is prepared to confront any new military confrontation with the United States.

Tehran's Strategy in the Face of Threats

Khatibzadeh, in an interview with a news network regarding the tensions with the United States, said: "Most of the efforts that Iran is making through diplomatic channels and with the help of mediators are aimed at preventing war. However, we are ready for various scenarios in the event of a new military confrontation." He also referred to the shift in the balance of power in the region in the event of any attack on Iran.

Strait of Hormuz and Shipping Challenges

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran referred to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and stated that Washington is misusing this waterway as a tool against Tehran. He added: "Once the existing threats are resolved, the situation of this strategically important waterway can be organized." The Strait of Hormuz is recognized as one of the most vital routes for transporting oil and liquefied natural gas to global markets, and the threat to freedom of navigation in this strategic waterway poses additional risks to international trade and energy security.

The Role of Hezbollah and the Sovereignty of Lebanon

Khatibzadeh also addressed the situation in Lebanon and its impacts on the region. He emphasized that Hezbollah makes its decisions independently, and these decisions may lead to a resumption of hostilities against the Zionist regime. He continued: "Tehran respects Lebanon's sovereignty and does not interfere in the internal affairs of this country." These statements reflect Iran's approach towards its neighbors and its efforts to maintain diplomatic relations in the region.

As a country with a history of tensions and military conflicts, Iran is now at a stage where it needs to balance power and manage potential crises. Khatibzadeh's statements clearly illustrate Tehran's strategy in facing international and regional challenges and emphasize the country's readiness to confront any threats.
