In his conversation with the Butterfly Effect podcast, Mahmoud Haghighi spoke about his decision to leave the world of acting and enter the field of olive production and sales. He explained that in the past, he was supposed to appear as an actor in the film "Simple Reception," directed by Mani Haghighi, but for various reasons, this opportunity slipped away, and another actor took his place.

Referring to this topic, he said: "I have always wanted to be involved in my brother's projects, but my life took a direction where I chose agriculture instead of acting." This choice may be a sign of his will and determination to pursue an independent and different life, although many people who know him still recognize him as an artistic figure.
Life in the Olive Grove
Mahmoud Haghighi further elaborated on his work in agriculture, stating that he has chosen olives as his main product. He explained that this work not only gives him a sense of satisfaction but also strengthens his connection with nature and the land.
He also mentioned the challenges he has faced along the way, saying: "Farming is not an easy job and requires patience and perseverance. But when you see the final product and know that you have grown it yourself, it is an incredible feeling."
Despite not stepping into the world of art, Mahmoud Haghighi still takes pride in his brother Mani Haghighi and enjoys watching his works. He admitted that he can never distance himself from his love for art and cinema, even if his life continues on a different path.
