A major theft in one of Tehran's residential complexes in recent days has caused concern among residents and officials. This theft, which involved a significant amount of gold worth 25 billion tomans, occurred under circumstances where none of the residents imagined that one of the closest individuals to them would be the main suspect in this crime.

Police Investigations and Identification of the Suspect

Following the theft, Colonel Detective Sameh Khorshad, head of the Mazandaran police's criminal investigation department, conducted field investigations and extensive research. Detectives, by searching for available clues, concluded that the theft was carried out from inside the complex and that one of the individuals familiar with the building was likely involved. These clues soon led detectives to the building caretaker.

The caretaker, who was known as a reliable and trustworthy person, was ultimately pursued and arrested in coordination with judicial authorities. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the theft of the gold and it was revealed that he had sold the stolen goods at a jewelry store in a neighboring province.

Consequences of the Theft and Store Purchase

After the suspect's confession, investigations revealed that part of the proceeds from the sale of the stolen gold was used to purchase a shop. This not only sheds new light on this case but also indicates the suspect's prior planning to utilize the proceeds of the theft. This has raised further concerns among residents and the police, emphasizing that individuals close to us may play an unexpected role in reality.

The continuation of investigations in this matter and judicial follow-ups demonstrate the police's determination to combat such crimes. Colonel Khorshad emphasized that residents of complexes should be warned to be more cautious regarding individuals they trust.

This theft was not only a sensational news story for the media but also serves as a wake-up call for all residents of residential complexes. The fact that a seemingly trustworthy individual can commit such a crime requires more attention and caution from residents.
