The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has clearly indicated that Tehran is no longer content with merely defending its borders but is seeking to change the regional order. In his recent message, he referred to Iran's management of the Strait of Hormuz and the elimination of U.S. military bases in the region, describing these actions as a sign of Iran's power and will against hegemony.
Emphasis on National Sovereignty
In part of his message on the occasion of November 4, the Supreme Leader linked the Strait of Hormuz to a stage for showcasing Iran's sovereignty. This action is viewed not only as a reaction to past military aggressions but also as a primary jihad on a regional scale. According to him, if aggressions are repeated, this jihad could take on broader dimensions and turn into a serious struggle against imperialism.

New Phase of Confrontation
The confrontation between Iran and the U.S. has entered a new phase. In this phase, Iran is utilizing its strategic capacities to influence regional equations rather than merely defending itself. This change in approach could significantly affect Iran's relations with neighboring countries and also impact U.S. policies in the region.
These developments are particularly noteworthy given that the outcome of the U.S. elections seems to favor the Democrats and result in the defeat of the Republicans. This defeat is, in fact, a continuation of the failures that Washington has experienced in its confrontation with Iran. Such a situation allows Tehran to emphasize its positions in various areas and leverage them.
On the other hand, economic challenges persist in the country. For instance, delays in paying the claims of stores contracted under the coupon scheme have become one of the serious obstacles to implementing this support plan. Despite the participation of about 600,000 retail units in this scheme, the accumulation of claims and difficulties in securing liquidity have forced many small stores to refuse to accept coupon credits.
This situation has affected households' access to essential goods and highlights the urgent need for economic reforms. In this context, the Supreme Leader's message and Iran's strategic shift against the U.S. can be seen as an opportunity to strengthen Iran's position on the global stage and improve domestic economic conditions.
